Is my session confidential?

HIPAA healthcare regulations require that I honor your confidentiality in all contexts, personal and process notes/records. A release of information in any format will require a signed release of Information statement from you. Cyberspace: I use Internet ( email) only for scheduling appointments and do not discuss clinical information through this means.

What is out of my scope of practice?

  • psychological evaluations

  • involvement in court dispute cases such a divorce or child custody

  • prescribing medications

  • mediation services

  • personal letters of recommendation

What is the cancellation policy?

If you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason, please email me 24 hours prior to your appointment time to avoid cancellation fee, which is the full price of session. Card on file will be charged for late cancel.

What form of payment do you accept?

Clients are able to submit payment via Venmo, Square, and Zelle. Payment should be sent at the end of the session.

Do you accept insurance?

What types of therapy do you offer?
We offer individual therapy for adults, focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and more. Sessions are grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to your unique needs.

Do you offer virtual/teletherapy sessions?
Yes! We specialize in HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy sessions that offer convenience, privacy, and flexibility for clients across Georgia.

What can I expect during my first session?
The first session is about getting to know you. We’ll explore your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, review your initial questionare and begin to build a foundation of trust. You don’t have to prepare anything—I’ll meet you where you are.

How long is a typical session?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes. Extended sessions may be available depending on your needs.

How often should I attend therapy?
Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which can shift to biweekly or monthly as you progress and gain confidence in your tools and insights.
